Quick Predictions: 2025 NFL Season

As training camp is well underway and pre-season football is here, it is about that time. The NFL once again saw a number of league-shaking trades, signings, and draft picks. Below is the script of how things will play out this season. Enjoy…

NFC East

Eagles (Prediction: 14-3)

Key Additions: DE Josh Uche, LB Azeez Ojulari, Draft LB Jihaad Campbell, S Andrew Mukuba

Key Losses: DE Bryce Huff, S CJ Gardner Johnson

The reigning Super Bowl Champions look to defend their title as the Eagles enter the season with a loaded roster once again. The Eagles don’t have the benefit of an easy schedule as they face the Chiefs, Bills, and Packers on the road this season. Despite the tough schedule, the Eagles bolstered their already suffocating defense with the addition of 4 instant impact players. The Eagles will once again roll into the playoffs at the head of the pack. The team is led by the three-headed monster of Hurts, Barkley, and Brown on offense, and an even stronger defense.

Commanders (Prediction: 12-5)

Key Additions: WR Deebo Samuel, OT Laremy Tunsil, Draft CB Trey Amos

Key Losses: DT Jonathan Allen, WR Terry McLaurin (Questionable)

The Washington Commanders were the surprise team of the 2024-25 season. Rookie Quarterback Jayden Daniels took the league by storm, winning Offensive Rookie of the Year and leading his team to 12 wins, ending a 17-year playoff drought. The Commanders added an instant impact weapon with the addition of Wide Receiver Deebo Samuel. They also secured Daniels’ blindside with 2-Time Pro Bowl Tackle Laremy Tunsil. One question looming over the Commanders is if they will have Wide Receiver Terry McClaurin who has been holding out for a new contract and requested a trade at the end of July. If the Commanders have the weapons available, they will be able to repeat last year’s success and look to make some noise in the playoffs.

Cowboys (Prediction: 5-12)

Key Additions: WR George Pickins, CB Kaiir Elam, RB Miles Sanders

Key Losses: OG Zack Martin, DE DeMarcus Lawrence, RB Rico Dowdle

The Dallas Cowboys are entering the 2025-26 season looking to finally make their way to the NFC Championship. The Cowboys secured their 4-time Pro Bowl Wide Receiver CeeDee Lamb to a record breaking contract extension this off-season, allowing another full training camp with Quarterback Dak Prescott. Dallas did lose a future Hall of Fame offensive lineman in Zack Martin this offseason, and a 4-time Pro Bowl defensive lineman in DeMarcus Lawrence. The addition of Wide Receiver George Pickens will be interesting, especially with the large personalities in the Dallas Cowboys locker room. The schedule is far from favorable outside of their already top heavy division. They face the Chiefs, Packers, and Lions this season. First-year head coach Brian Schottenheimer will have his hands full as the Cowboys under-perform by a large margin.

Giants (Prediction: 2-15)

Key Additions: QB Russell Wilson, CB Paulson Adebo, S Jevon Holland, QB Jaxson Dart & DE Abdul Carter (Draft)

Key Losses: LB Isaiah Simmons, OG Justin Pugh

The Giants are a story of the young and the old as Super-Bowl winning Quarterback Russell Wilson joins the team ahead of his 14th NFL Season. New York also drafted Quarterback Jaxson Dart in the 1st Round of the 2025 NFL Draft. The Giants had many holes in the roster outside of the Quarterback room and did not fill enough of them. This season will provide the chance to fill those holes in next year’s Draft. This will be a good season for Dart to learn from a seasoned veteran, but this will not be a competitive season in New York.

NFC West

Seahawks (Prediction: 10-7)

Key Additions: QB Sam Darnold, WR Cooper Kupp, DE DeMarcus Lawrence, DT Jarran Reed, LB Ernest Jones

Key Losses: QB Geno Smith, WR DK Metcalf, WR Tyler Lockett, OG Laken Tomlinson

The Seahawks made major changes this offseason following a 10-win season. Seattle parted ways with 3 key offensive pieces by replacing their starting Quarterback, All-Pro Wide Receiver, and Super Bowl Champion Wide Receiver. This is not a rebuild for the Seahawks as they signed Quarterback Sam Darnold looking to build off of his resurgent 2024 campaign. Darnold will be paired with newly acquired Super Bowl winning Wide Receiver Cooper Kupp. In addition to their offensive overhaul, the Seahawks added impact players on the defensive front. The Seahawks will become the new leader of the NFC West.

49ers (Prediction: 10-7)

Key Additions: TE Luke Farrell Draft DL Mykel Williams

Key Losses: WR Deebo Samuel, DT Javon Hargrave, S Talanoa Hufanga, CB Charvarius Ward, LB Dre Greenlaw

The San Francisco 49ers have entrusted the future of their franchise in the hands of the 7th round pick in the 2022 NFL Draft, Quarterback Brock Purdy. Purdy signed a 5-year extension this offseason and is looking to bring the 49ers back to Super Bowl contention. All-Pro Running Back Christian McCaffrey is looking to return in full capacity after missing multiple games and fighting a PCL strain last season. The 49ers lost a handful of pieces this season as their defense lost 4 starters, and one of their key offensive weapons in Deebo Samuel. They will be fighting for a spot in the playoffs at the end of the season, but San Francisco will be left on the outside looking in.

Cardinals (Prediction: 9-8)

Key Additions: DE Josh Sweat, DT Dalvin Tomlinson, DT Walter Nolan (Draft)

Key Losses: DT Roy Lopez

The Cardinals were relatively quiet this offseason. They did quietly bolster the defensive line adding 3 new faces in the trenches. The Cardinals look to reach the playoffs for the first time since 2021 with Franchise Quarterback Kyler Murray. Highly touted Wide Receiver Marvin Harrison will be looking to break out in his 2nd season and will be worth keeping an eye on. The Cardinals will finish above .500 for the first time in 4 seasons.

Rams (Prediction: 8-9)

Key Additions: WR Davante Adams, DT Poona Ford

Key Losses: WR Cooper Kupp, DT Bobby Brown III

The Rams saw the departure of a key member of the 2022 Super Bowl Championship team with Wide Receiver Cooper Kupp headed across the division. The Rams do have Matthew Stafford behind center with a new target in 3-time All=Pro Wide Receiver Davante Adams. Stafford is dealing with a back injury during Training Camp and could linger into the Regular Season. The best days are behind this version of the Los Angeles Rams as they fall to the bottom of the NFC West.

NFC North

https://calbears.com/sports/football/roster/jared-goff/6888

Lions (Prediction: 12-5)

Key Additions CB D.J. Reed,  OL Tate Ratledge (Draft)

Key Losses: C Frank Ragnow, DE Za’Darius Smith

The Lions are coming off a record-breaking season won a franchise record 15 wins last season. Star Defensive Ends Aidan Hutchinson will be returning this season after missing the majority of last year with a leg fracture. The Lions did say goodbye to future Hall of Fame Center Frank Ragnow, but drafted Offensive Lineman Tate Ratledge to try and keep the line in tact. The Lions also added some extra support to the secondary, and are built to be a strong defensive team this season. The Lions will battle through a competitive race for the NFC North title and will find themselves on top after Week 18.

Packers (Prediction: 12-5)

Key Additions: G Aaron Banks, CB Hobbs, WR Mecole Hardman, LB Isaiah Simmons, WR Mathew Golden (Draft)

Key Losses: CB Jaire Alexander, C Josh Myers, CB Eric Stokes

The Green Bay Packers are looking to regain their standing atop the division after their Wild Card bid into last season’s playoffs. The Packers will have Quarterback Jordan Love starting at the helm for the 3rd consecutive season. The release of star Cornerback Jaire Alexander made waves around the league this summer, and leaves a major hole in their defense. Green Bay also decided not to pursue a proven Wide Receiver in free agency and the trade market, but they did spend a 1st Round Draft Pick on this position for the first time in 23 years. The Packers will regain their footing this year and will be back in the mix for the top spot in the NFC North.

Bears (Prediction: 10-7)

Key Additions: C Drew Dalman, G Joe Thuney, G Jonah Jackson, DE Dayo Odeyingbo, DT Grady Jarret, TE Colston Loveland (Draft)

Key Losses: DE Demarcus Walker, TE Gerald Everett

Going into last season, it was said that the Chicago Bears may be the best situation a #1 Overall Draft Pick has ever joined. Quarterback Caleb Williams Rookie season said otherwise as the Bears regressed in the standings year-over-year. The Bears are looking to quickly right the ship as they hired one of the most sought after Coordinators in the NFL, Ben Johnson, as their Head Coach. This offseason, both the Offensive and Defensive Lines in Chicago were completely overhauled. The trenches gained 5 new starters over both sides of the ball with a combined 6 Pro-Bowl selections among them. Caleb Williams will have a significant increase in protection leading to a much more fluid offense. After fixing their weakest points in both the coaching staff and roster, the Bears will return to the playoffs for the first time in 5 seasons.

Vikings (Prediction: 5-12)

Key Additions: DT Jonathan Allen, DT Javon Hargrave, G Will Fries, C Ryan Kelly

Key Losses: QB Sam Darnold, OT Cam Robinson

The Minnesota Vikings were a regular season juggernaut last season. Week 18 they were playing for the NFC North title, but what will this season bring? The biggest change to their roster was the departure of breakout Quarterback Sam Darnold. The Vikings are looking to give their 2024 1st Round NFL Draft pick the keys to their offense. Quarterback JJ McCarthy suffered a knee-injury in last summer’s training camp causing him to miss his entire rookie season. McCarthy and the Vikings have the benefit of a newly reworked interior defensive line with two strong signings, and the addition of Center Ryan Kelly and Guard Will Fries as they look to fill the hole left in their offseason with the departure of Cam Robinson. The Vikings were one of the biggest surprises last season, but the combination of a 1st-year starting Quarterback and an unfavorable schedule will result in a major step back and a very disappointing season.

NFC South

Panthers (Prediction: 10-7)

Key Additions: CB Jaycee Horn, S Tre’Von Moehrig, DT Tershawn Wharton, DT Bobby Brown III, OLB Patrick Jones II, Draft WR Tetairoa McMillan

Key Losses: LB Shaq Thompson, DE Jadeveon Clowney, HB Miles Sanders, S Xavier Woods

The Panthers overhauled their roster in hopes of building a team around 3rd-year Quarterback Bryce Young. Young has had an up and down start to his career as he was benched early last season for veteran Andy Dalton. Later that season, Young returned after losing Dalton to injury following a car accident. Bryce is projected to start for his season and will have a star studded defense on the other side of the ball. The addition of 5 new starters on the defense will work wonders for the development of the Panthers. Carolina will become the first team since 2020 to dethrone Tampa Bay for the division title.

Buccaneers (Prediction: 9-8)

Key Additions: LB Haason Reddick, WR Emeka Egbuka (Draft)

Key Losses: C Robert Hainsey, LB K.J. Britt

The Buccaneers are looking to win their 5th consecutive NFC South Championship this season. Baker Mayfield is entering his 8th NFL season where he will be looking to build on his successful run in Tampa Bay. The Buccaneers will be looking forward to the return of Wide Receiver Chris Godwin after his gruesome Week 7 injury last season. Wide Receiver Mike Evans returns this year looking to secure his 12th straight season with 1,000 receiving yards. Tampa Bay made a few changes this offseason but is returning their core and added a weapon in the 2025 NFL Draft. Despite their efforts, the Buccaneers will fall from the top-spot in the division.

Falcons (Prediction: 4-13)

Key Additions: DE Leonard Floyd, DT Morgan Fox, LB Divine Deablo, DE Jalon Walker & DE James Pearce Jr. (Draft)

Key Losses: DE Grady Jarrett, C Drew Dalman, LB Lorenzo Carter

The Atlanta Falcons saw a lot of change this offseason. The Falcons focused heavily on the defensive end of the football drafting two Defensive Linemen in the 1st Round of the 2025 NFL Draft. They also added 3 impact players to their defensive front in free agency. The biggest news of last year was the benching of Quarterback Kirk Cousins just after signing a 4-year $180 Million contract with the team. Rookie Quarterback Michael Penix Jr. took over the starting role mid-season, and is set to open the 2025 season as the starting Quarterback. Despite the overhaul to their defensive line, the Falcons Quarterback problems will persist and the Falcons will find few wins this season.

Saints (Prediction: 0-17)

Key Additions: S Justin Reid, CB Isaac Yiadom, G Will Clapp, OT Kelvin Banks Jr. (Draft)

Key Losses: QB Derek Carr, S Tyrann Mathieu, CB Paulson Adebo

The New Orleans Saints lost their starting Quarterback this offseason as Derek Carr announced his retirement after 11 seasons in the NFL. Safety Tyrann Matthieu also announced his retirement from the league after his 12th season. The Saints filled some holes on the offensive line in both free agency and the NFL Draft, and reworked their secondary following the retirement of Matthieu. New Orleans does not have a solid option at Quarterback to start the season and will have the first crack at finding one in the 2026 NFL Draft. Their is a reason two players would rather retire than play for New Orleans this season. The Saints will be the first 0-17 team in NFL History.

AFC East

Buffalo Bills (Prediction: 14-3)

Key Additions: DE Joey Bosa, DE Michael Hoecht, WR Josh Palmer, DT Larry Ogunjobi

Key Losses: DE Von Miller, WR Amari Cooper, S Micah Hyde, CB Rasul Douglas

The Buffalo Bills have been one of the most consistent contenders in the AFC for the better part of the 2020s. The question every year is, can they finally get over the hump (or the Kansas City Chiefs) and make it to their first Super Bowl in over 30 years? Despite facing both of last year’s Super Bowl participants, the Bills have a favorable schedule. The Bills face the Chiefs, Eagles, Ravens, and Bengals all at home and their biggest tests on the road are the Texans and Steelers. Buffalo saw the departure of future Hall of Famer Von Miller, but replaced him with 5-time Pro Bowler Joey Bosa. With Buffalo’s overhauled defensive front, favorable schedule, and Josh Allen still controlling the offense, this could finally be the year of the Bills.

New York Jets (Prediction: 8-9)

Key Additions: QB Justin Fields, CB Brandon Stephens, S Andre Cisco

Key Losses: QB Aaron Rodgers, WR Devante Adams, LB CJ Mosley, DE Haason Reddick

The Jets are beginning a new era for their franchise. Following the failed Quarterback experiment with Aaron Rodgers, the Jets are giving Justin Fields a chance to be the franchise man under center. Fields has shown upside in his 4-year NFL career, and is a real curveball in the AFC. The addition of Andre Cisco from Jacksonville will immediately improve their secondary. They did create a major hole in the middle of their defense with the loss of CJ Mosley however. This will be a step in the right direction for the New York Jets, but they are a few pieces away for competing for a playoff spot.

Miami Dolphins (Prediction: 5-12)

Key Additions: S Minkah Fitzpatrick, G James Daniels, CB Kendall Sheffield

Key Losses: CB Jalen Ramsey, TE Jonnu Smith, RB Raheem Mostert, WR Braxton Berrios, CB Kendall Fuller, DE Calais Campbell, S Jordan Poyer

The biggest obstacle for the Dolphins is the question of Quarterback Tua Tagovailoa. Tua has had major injury issues in recent seasons. Despite the addition of Tyreek Hill in 2022, the Dolphins have under performed in all regards. This offseason, Miami let go of one of their top offensive weapons to acquire Safety Minkah Fitzpatrick. Despite this addition, losing Jalen Ramsey, Calais Campbell, and Jordan Poyer leave major holes on the defensive end and is a net negative for their defensive development. This will be another disappointing year leading to an offseason full of questions and a potential franchise reset.

New England Patriots (Prediction: 5-12)

Key Additions: WR Stefon Diggs, DT Milton Williams, CB Carlton Davis, LB Harold Landry, LB Robert Spilane, OT Morgan Moses

Key Losses: LS Joe Cardona, LB Ja’Whaun Bentley

The Mike Vrabel Head Coaching return is here and a fresh start with New England is the perfect place for that to happen. The Patriots were active this offseason adding an All-Pro caliber target for developing Quarterback Drake Maye, along with some much needed protection at the Tackle Position. The defense added some heavy hitters at all 3 levels to help with their new Head Coach’s defensive philosophy. Despite the fairytale reunion for a franchise and championship player turned coach, it will take some time for Vrabel to implement his new system and build the roster to his strengths

AFC West

https://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/nfl/super-bowl/2025/02/05/patrick-mahomes-age-chiefs-super-bowl/78134896007/

Kansas City Chiefs (Prediction: 13-4)

Key Additions: OT Jaylon Moore, OL Josh Simmons (Draft)

Key Losses: OL Joe Thuney, S Justin Reid

Breaking News, the Kansas City Chiefs still have Patrick Mahomes and are the odds on favorite in the AFC. The Chiefs do have a few challenges ahead of them. Will Josh Simmons and Jaylon Moore be able to fill the void of future Hall of Fame Offensive Tackle Joe Thuney? Will Rasheed Rice be suspended and for how long? How much does Travis Kelce still have in the tank? Can a Rookie breakout on the defensive end? These questions will be answered this season. But much like the Buffalo Bills, the Chiefs face the toughest opponents on their schedule at home. The Eagles, Ravens, Lions, and Commanders will all be going to Arrowhead Stadium this season with the only true road test being the aforementioned Buffalo Bills. The stars have aligned for another successful season in Kansas City.

Las Vegas Raiders (Prediction: 10-7)

Key Additions: QB Geno Smith, Draft RB Ashton Jeanty, S Jamaal Adams, S Jeremy Chinn, CB Eric Stokes

Key Losses: DT Christian Wilkins, LB Robert Spillane, CB Nate Hobbs

Geno Smith did not go to Vegas to gamble.. But it may be worth gambling on the new-look Raiders this season. The Raiders did not only sign a serviceable starting Quarterback this year, or only sign the most explosive Running Back in the 2025 NFL draft, they revamped their entire secondary. It is no secret that Jamaal Adams’ best years are behind him, but he is still playing at a productive level. The additions of Safety Jeremy Chinn and Cornerback Eric Stokes are no small moves either. The Raiders will be a sneaky team in the AFC West and will exceed expectations.

Los Angeles Chargers (Prediction: 10-7)

Key Additions: OL Mekhi Becton, RB Najee Harris, RB Omarion Hampton (Draft)

Key Losses: WR Mike Williams, DE Joey Bosa, RB J.K. Dobbins

The second year of the Jim Harbaugh NFL return is here. The National Championship Head Coach is in his second training camp with his franchise Quarterback Josh Herbert. The Chargers had an impressive season last year, and are looking to build upon that this year. The Chargers revamped their running back room with a rookie and a vet, and added Super Bowl Champion Mekhi Becton to their offensive line. The AFC West is going to be the battle of 4 playoff caliber rosters and that will impact Los Angeles’ win total. It will look like a step in the wrong direction on paper, but the eye test will show a successful year for the LA Chargers.

Denver Broncos (Prediction: 9-8)

Key Additions: LB Dre Greenlaw, S Talanoa Hufanga, TE Evan Engram, CB Jahdae Barron (Draft)

Key Losses: LB Cody Barton, RB Jovante Williams

The Denver Broncos are another year removed from the failed Russell Wilson era, but Bo Nix is ready to improve on his impressive Rookie Year. Denver has lived out the cliché of ‘defense wins championships’ and the Broncos are looking to relive it again. They added two studs to the linebacking core and secondary along with drafting a Cornerback in the first round. Despite the departure of Cody Barton, the defense took a few steps forward this offseason. But much like the Los Angeles Chargers, they are a victim of a competitive division and will see a step back in their win percentage.

AFC North

https://www.britannica.com/biography/Lamar-Jackson

Ravens (Prediction: 13-4)

Key Additions: CB Jaire Alexander, WR DeAndre Hopkins, Draft S Malaki Starks

Key Losses: K Justin Tucker, CB Brandon Stephens

The MVP-led Baltimore Ravens have been a force to be reckoned with in the Regular Season. Recent history has shown that they have had trouble maintaining this success after Week 18. But the backfield is running it back with Lamar Jackson and Derrick Henry after a stellar 2024 season. The Ravens focused on strengthening their secondary this offseason with the signing of Cornerback Jaire Alexander following his release from Green Bay. Malaki Starks should also be an instant impact player next to Kyle Hamilton at the safety position. Despite the other moves in the AFC North, the Ravens should have no issues securing the top spot in the division once again.

Steelers (Prediction: 10-7)

Key Additions: QB Aaron Rodgers, WR DK Metcalf, CB Jalen Ramsey, TE Jonnu Smith, CB Darius Slay

Key Losses: WR George Pickens, S Minkah Fitzpatrick, OL Dan Moore

The Steelers have gone on a retreat of sorts, taking a ride with future Hall of Fame Quarterback Aaron Rodgers. The Steelers made noise this offseason acquiring four players with at least one All-Pro nod and a Pro-Bowl Tight End. They parted ways with budding Wide Receiver George Pickens and All-Pro Safety Minkah Fitzpatrick, but if history tells all, any Wide Receiver Mike Tomlin trades is someone you probably don’t want to take a chance on. Despite the noise, the Steelers have a lot of similarities to the 2011 “Dream Team” Eagles. The Steelers will do enough to sneak into the playoffs, but it will be an ugly road.

Bengals (Prediction: 9-8)

Key Additions: TE Noah Fant, DT Taven Bryan, DE Shemar Stewart (Draft)

Key Losses: OG Alex Cappa

The Cincinnati Bengals are an interesting team and could be one of the most difficult teams to predict. The Bengals defense was one of the worst in the NFL through the first half of the season, but rallied towards the end to try and sneak into the playoffs. The offense was lights out, as expected with one of the Top-4 Quarterbacks in the NFL and one of the Top-2 Wide Receivers. The biggest offseason story for the Bengals has been the reluctance to pay the 2025 NFL Sack leader despite 2 other Edge Rushers getting paid within his own division. The lack of a defensive overhaul and the loss of Guard Alex Cappa will lead the Bengals to another disappointing season. More questions than answers will be revealed at the end of the year.

Browns (Prediction: 3-14)

Key Additions: QB Joe Flacco, QB Kenny Pickett, Draft QBs Dillon Gabriel & Shedur Sanders, DT Mason Graham

Key Losses: RB Nick Chubb, S Juan Thornhill

The Browns had a unique offseason. They let one of the most beloved players in Cleveland sports history walk away in Running Back Nick Chubb, locked down one of the best Pass Rushers in the NFL in Myles Garrett, and shocked the league by drafting 2 Quarterbacks in the 2025 NFL Draft. The Quarterback room is going to be complicated for Cleveland. Will they start the Veteran Joe Flacco? If they go to a Rookie QB, which one do they turn too? If Sanders isn’t playing and the team is losing, will the Cleveland media be in a frenzy? It will be a messy season in Cleveland, but they will be a team in the headlines despite little success.

AFC South

Titans (Prediction: 12-5)

Key Additions: LT Dan Moore, OG Kevin Zeitler, DE Dre’Mont Jones, LB Cody Barton, LB Lorenzo Carter, QB Cam Ward (Draft)

Key Losses: CB Chidobe Awuzie, QB Will Levis (Injury)

The Tennessee Titans secured Quarterback Cam Ward with the first overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. Ward is expected to be thrown into the fire Week 1 after former starting Quarterback Will Levis underwent season-ending shoulder surgery in July. The offense added some much needed protection for the first-year signal caller with two new starting Offensive Lineman. The Titans bolstered their defense with Defensive End Dre’Mont Jones, Linebacker Lorenzo Carter, and Linebacker Cody Barton. Calvin Ridley will have a breakout season with Cam Ward at the helm and the Titans will be the ‘Cinderella Story’ of the AFC.

Texans (Prediction: 11-6)

Key Additions: WR Christian Kirk, RB Nick Chubb, S CJ Garnder-Johnson, OT Trent Brown, OT Cam Robinson

Key Losses: OT Laremy Tunsil, WR Stefon Diggs, OG Shaq Mason, OG Keyon Green

The Texans will look a bit different this season. Quarterback CJ Stroud is entering his third year after having a minor ‘Sophomore Slump’. Despite throwing more than twice as many interceptions than he did his Rookie Year, Stroud helped lead the Texans to the top of the AFC South. Houston added some major weapons to their roster acquiring former All-Pro Running Back Nick Chubb, Wide Receiver Christian Kirk, and Super Bowl Champion Safety C.J. Gardner-Johnson. The Texans did lose 3 out of their 5 starting offensive linemen in the offseason including 2-time Pro Bowl Tackle Laremy Tunsil. Stroud will post career highs in all categories as the Texans have a strong season.

Jaguars (Prediction: 6-11)

Key Additions: OG Patrick Mekari, C Robert Hainsey, CB Jourdan Lewis, WR Dyami Brown, WR/CB Travis Hunter (Draft)

Key Losses: TE Evan Engram, WR Devin Duvernay

The Jacksonville Jaguars will have their franchise Quarterback Trevor Lawrence back under center to start the season. The Jaguars selected a potential weapon on both sides of the ball in Travis Hunter. It is yet to be seen how the 2-way playing Heisman Wide Receiver / Cornerback will be used in the NFL, but he does add an interesting option for the Jaguars. The offensive line in Jacksonville added two new starters which should help keep their Quarterback on the field. The Jaguars will see improvement this season but still have some building to do.

Colts (Prediction: 2-15)

Key Additions:QB Daniel Jones, CB Charvarius Ward, S Camryn Bynum

Key Losses: LB EJ Speed, DE Dayo Odeyingbo

The Indianapolis Colts have a big question to answer prior to Week 1. Who will be the starting Quarterback? The Colts signed 6-year veteran Quarterback Daniel Jones to a 1-year $14 Million deal. This follows his release from the New York Giants after an up and down 5.5 seasons. Jones is competing with the #4 overall pick of the 2023 NFL Draft, Anthony Richardson. Richardson has had a rough start to his career thus far. Despite signing one of the best Cornerbacks in the league in Charvarius Ward and improving their secondary, the Colts lost two key pieces in the box in free agency. The Colts don’t have great options in either Quarterback and will likely be looking for a new option near the top of the 2026 NFL Draft.
